mediterranean food philosophy
Jaume grew up in the Poble Sec neighborhood of Barcelona and currently lives in the enchanting Gothic Quarter with his family. Even as a child, he understood that the memories and relationships we build around food are important. The friendships that he has cultivated over his 25+ years in the food industry are reflected in the way he designs his classes.
From the most traditional Paella to the most elegant pastry, his connection to the origin of the food, and his passion to share culture and knowledge is part of what makes Jaume's classes so unique.
Jaume has trained in France, England and Germany and has worked in a Michelin Star restaurant as well as various Small luxury hotels. One of the most important lessons that he came away with is the idea that no matter what country you call home, the art of cooking a meal with family and friends helps us to learn about each other.
